Hi! it's wednesday and it means we have yet another opportunity to crush on someone and in today's edition of #wcw, we present to you, the award winning Nigerian song writer, singer, performer and project fame West Africa winner Chidinma Ekile...

Chidinma Ekile famously known as Miss kedike and Chidinma is a Nigerian song writer and singer from Imo state. She was born in Ketu, Lagos State on May 2nd 1991. She worked as a developer in Lagos before auditioning for the third season of Project Fame West Africa. She began singing at a tender age of 6. At 10, she joined the church choir. She went to primary and middle school in Ketu before moving to Ikorodu with her family.

Surprisingly, music for Chidinma was just like a hobby and not always number one on her list as she always wanted to study Mass Communication but ended up studying Sociology at the University of Lagos. As fate will have it, in the year 2010, she auditioned for the third edition of MTN project fame and became the First female winner of Project Fame West Arica. This was what brought her to limelight.



She released some singles after her success. In 2011, she released her first single ‘Jankoliko’, featuring Sound Sultan. In 2012, she released her self-titled album ‘Chidinma’ which featured some of her most popular songs ‘Kedike’, ‘Run dia mouth’ and ‘Carry you go’. That same year, she won the Best Female West African Act at the Kora Awards.

Chidinma performed with Dr SID at the MTN Power of 10 Concerts, a ten-city tour that celebrated MTN Nigeria’s ten-year anniversary; the tour kicked off in Makurdi on 9 September 2011. Chidinma was one of the supporting acts on the 2013 Hennessy Artistry Club Tour headlined by D’banj. On 3 November 2013, she performed at the Guinness World of More Concert alongside P-Square, D’banj, Wizkid, Ice Prince, Burna Boy, Olamide, Phyno, Waje, Davido and Tiwa Savage, among others. On 9 November 2013, Chidinma performed with Blackstreet at the Butterscotch Evening Experience, a concert held at the Eko Hotels and Suites. On 14 February 2014, she performed at the MTN Valentine Rave Party alongside Tiwa Savage, Mario and Sound Sultan.


In 2014, she launched the ‘Nma Foundation’, a platform through which she intends giving back to the society. Over the years, she has won series of awards. The award winning darling of the music industry, has performed in several countries such as Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Cameroun, Ghana among many others.

Her distinct powerful voice has retained her place as an artiste in top flight for years and we don’t see her touching the ground anytime soon. Particularly distinguishing about Chidinma’s music is her personal style. Chidinma has remained traditional with her music and style.

  Hi everyone! Its Wednesday again!!!It is yet another opportunity to love someone. Guess who has our heart for the week! In today’s edition of #WCW, we will be crushing one the Nollywood Princess, actress, dancer and guitarist. She is no other than our very own beautiful, pointed nosed Adesua Etomi. Adesua Temitope Etomi is a Nigerian Actress. She was born in Owerri Imo state. Her father is a soldier and her mother, an engineer. She is the youngest of three siblings.
